Practice app · Acme REST API
A live REST + GraphQL API with auth, validation, pagination, rate limiting and an interactive request console.
Your starter code already declares BASE_URL — call the API relative to it.
Objective
Automate a full admin workflow: authenticate, create, read, update and delete a user.
Your task
- 1POST BASE_URL + "/auth/token" with the admin fixture and verify GET BASE_URL + "/auth/me" is 200.
- 2POST BASE_URL + "/users" (unique email) → 201; capture id.
- 3PATCH BASE_URL + "/users/{id}" { "role": "editor" } → 200; GET it back → role "editor".
- 4DELETE the user → 204.
Acceptance criteria
- POST /auth/token and GET /auth/me return 200
- POST /users returns 201
- PATCH /users/{id} returns 200
- DELETE /users/{id} returns 204
- At least 4 assertions pass
Constraints
- Use a unique email per run, e.g. qa.<timestamp>@example.test — emails must not already exist (409 EMAIL_TAKEN).
Fixtures
- apiKey
- tqa_live_key_123
- basicUser
