Practice app · Acme Mobile
A mobile app in a device frame. Elements expose data-accessibility-id (= aria-label) for AppiumBy.accessibilityId.
Your starter code already declares TEST_URL — never hardcode a host.
Objective
Drag carousel slides with press–hold–move–release gestures and verify where they landed.
Your task
- 1Log in as qa@target.dev / Test@123 via the accessibility ids "username", "password" and "login".
- 2Tap "allow" on the notification permission dialog (#permission-dialog) — the app is blocked until you answer it.
- 3Open the Gestures tab (accessibility id "tab-gestures").
- 4Press the carousel, hold ~300 ms, move at least 150 px to the left and release (a drag and drop past the left edge).
- 5Repeat once more and assert #carousel-index reads "3 / 4".
Acceptance criteria
- The carousel ends on slide 3 / 4
- A drag gesture is used, not the arrow buttons
- At least 1 assertion passes
Constraints
- The practice app has no drop zone; the draggable carousel is the drop target.
Fixtures
- username
- qa@target.dev
- password
- Test@123
