Objective

Automate a full job application: sign in, find the Senior SDET role at Northwind Labs, complete the multi-step Easy Apply dialog (contact info, screening questions, review) and verify the job is marked as applied.

Your task

  1. 1Open TEST_URL, click “Sign in” (#nav-signin) and sign in with alex@connectin.test / Connect@2026 (#signin-email, #signin-password, #signin-submit). Assert the feed (#feed-heading) is shown.
  2. 2Click Jobs (#nav-jobs), search for “SDET” with #job-keyword and #job-search-button, and click the “Senior SDET — Playwright” card (data-job-id="j101").
  3. 3Click Easy Apply (#easy-apply-button). In #easy-apply-modal keep the +44 country code (#apply-country), enter 7700900123 in #apply-phone and click Next (#apply-next).
  4. 4On the screening step, choose “5+ years” in #apply-years (value 5+), choose Yes (#auth-yes) for work authorisation and click Review (#apply-next).
  5. 5On the review step, assert #review-phone shows +44 7700900123 and #review-years shows 5+ years, then click “Submit application” (#apply-submit).
  6. 6Assert #apply-success reads “Application submitted”, click Done (#apply-done), and assert the j101 job card shows an Applied badge (.applied-badge) and #applied-status says “Application submitted”.

Acceptance criteria

  • The application is submitted for the Senior SDET — Playwright job.
  • The job card shows the Applied badge and the details pane reports the submitted application.
  • The Easy Apply dialog is closed.
  • The test makes at least three assertions along the journey.
