Practice app · FinBank
A retail net-banking portal: captcha-protected login, an accounts dashboard with masked balances, a sortable and paginated transactions table, beneficiary management, OTP-verified fund transfers behind a native confirm, a session-timeout warning and statements that open in a new tab.
Your starter code already declares TEST_URL — never hardcode a host.
Objective
Sort the savings account transactions from the largest to the smallest amount and verify the largest transaction is listed first.
Your task
- 1Open TEST_URL (already logged in) and click Transactions (#nav-transactions).
- 2Click the Amount column header button (#sort-amount) once to sort ascending, and again to sort descending.
- 3Assert the Amount header (th[data-column="amount"]) has aria-sort="descending".
- 4Assert the first row's description contains “Fixed deposit maturity proceeds” and its amount is ₹1,50,000.
Acceptance criteria
- The table is sorted by amount, largest first.
- The first row is the ₹1,50,000 fixed deposit maturity credit.
- The test makes at least two assertions.
