Practice app · TaskBoard
A team kanban board: sign-in, four columns with WIP limits, a create-card dialog, pointer-based drag and drop, inline title editing, a right-click card menu with archive and undo, delete confirmation, search, keyboard shortcuts, a native reset confirm and an activity log.
Your starter code already declares TEST_URL — never hardcode a host.
Objective
Double-click a card title to edit it in place, save a new title with Enter, and prove that Escape cancels an edit on another card.
Your task
- 1Open TEST_URL (you are already signed in).
- 2Double-click the title (.card-title) of card TB-104 “Add newsletter signup”.
- 3Wait for the inline input (.card-title-input), replace its text with “Launch newsletter signup” and press Enter.
- 4Double-click the title of card TB-102 “Write release notes”, type “Draft notes” into the input and press Escape.
- 5Assert TB-104 shows the new title, TB-102 still reads “Write release notes”, no editor is open, and #activity-log contains the rename.
Acceptance criteria
- Card TB-104 is titled “Launch newsletter signup”.
- Card TB-102 keeps its original title after Escape.
- No inline editor remains open.
- The activity log records exactly the saved rename.
