Practice app · Acme REST API
A live REST + GraphQL API with auth, validation, pagination, rate limiting and an interactive request console.
Your starter code already declares BASE_URL — call the API relative to it.
Objective
Observe the three success codes of a resource lifecycle: 201 Created, 200 OK and 204 No Content.
Your task
- 1POST BASE_URL + "/users" with { "name": "Temp User", "email": <unique> } and assert 201 and a Location header.
- 2GET the created user (BASE_URL + "/users/{id}") and assert 200.
- 3DELETE the same user and assert 204 with an empty body.
Acceptance criteria
- POST /users returns 201
- GET /users/{id} returns 200
- DELETE /users/{id} returns 204
- At least 3 assertions pass
Constraints
- Use a unique email per run, e.g. qa.<timestamp>@example.test — emails must not already exist (409 EMAIL_TAKEN).
