Practice app · StayNest
A home-sharing marketplace: destination autocomplete, a two-month date-range calendar, a guests popover with steppers, results with a list/map toggle and a filters modal, listing pages with a photo gallery, a reserve card with a price breakdown, host profiles in a new tab, a wishlist that needs sign-in and a message-host form.
Your starter code already declares TEST_URL — never hardcode a host.
Objective
Saving a stay requires an account. Click Save on Gion Machiya Townhouse, log in through the dialog that appears, and verify the stay is saved to the wishlist.
Your task
- 1Open TEST_URL and open Gion Machiya Townhouse from Featured stays ([data-testid="listing-card"][data-listing-id="kyoto-machiya"] .listing-title).
- 2Click Save (#wishlist-button) and wait for the dialog #signin-modal (“Log in to save to your wishlist”).
- 3Enter guest@staynest.test in #signin-email and Nest@2026 in #signin-password, then click Continue (#signin-submit).
- 4Assert the dialog closes, #wishlist-button reads “Saved”, the header badge #wishlist-count shows 1 and #nav-account shows Jordan.
Acceptance criteria
- The log-in dialog is closed.
- The stay is saved and the wishlist badge shows 1.
- The header shows the signed-in guest, Jordan.
- The test makes at least two assertions.
