Objective

About two seconds after playback starts, a “Skip intro” button appears for a few seconds. Wait for it without fixed sleeps, click it, and verify the intro was skipped.

Your task

  1. 1Open TEST_URL. You are signed in as Maya on the browse page.
  2. 2Click Play on the billboard (#hero-play) to open the player.
  3. 3Click Play (#player-play) and assert #player-status reads “Playing”.
  4. 4Wait for #skip-intro to appear and click it.
  5. 5Assert #intro-message reads “Intro skipped”, the button is gone and #player-time is past 1:30.

Acceptance criteria

  • The Skip intro button was clicked while it was displayed.
  • The page confirms “Intro skipped” and playback jumped to 1:30.
  • The video is still playing.
  • The test uses no fixed sleeps.
