QA Analyst

This is an onsite role based out of our Sherwood Park, Alberta office.

In this role, you will be expected to

• Test new features and releases manually, with exploratory coverage that goes well beyond the written script
• Design test cases for new functionality, including the edge cases the requirements didn't mention
• Document defects clearly enough that developers can reproduce them without coming back to you for more detail
• Run and maintain our automated test suites , keeping them healthy as the product changes
• Prepare test data and support regression testing across releases
• Use AI agents to draft test plans, find edge cases, maintain automated tests, investigate failures, and improve release workflows, verifying everything they produce.
• Put AI tools to work to speed up test design, documentation, and execution
• Shape how we test by contributing to QA team discussions on coverage and process improvement

Qualifications we are looking for

• 2 to 3 years of hands-on QA experience , or formal QA training paired with at least a year of real-world testing
• A solid grasp of manual test case design, regression testing, and exploratory testing
• Experience with API testing and API testing tools
• Comfort with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Redmine, or similar
• Working knowledge of browser debugging tools
• An understanding of automation concepts and experience running or maintaining automated test scripts (writing them from scratch isn't required)
• Practical, everyday use of AI tools

Bonus points if you have

• Experience with TestRail or a similar test case management tool
• Exposure to Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer
• Familiarity with Git or other version control
• Some JavaScript or TypeScript
• Mobile testing experience, especially iOS edge cases
