QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and functional testing of applications.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute test cases and document test results.
• Identify, report, track, and retest defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing as required.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Maintain test documentation and provide regular testing status updates.
• Support test automation activities and contribute to improving QA processes.
• Ensure application quality meets business requirements and acceptance criteria.

Required Skills

• Understanding of software testing principles and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience in manual and functional testing.
• Knowledge of test case design, test execution, and defect management.
• Familiarity with defect-tracking tools such as Jira.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
