Role Overview
The SDET establishes and executes automated quality strategies for enterprise business-process solutions. The role validates BPM workflows, APIs, data, messaging, and end-to-end integrations using a Java and TypeScript automation stack.
Design and maintain automated tests for BPM solutions built on Camunda, jBPM, or comparable platforms.
Develop test automation using Java, TypeScript, Selenium, and Playwright.
Validate APIs, SQL and NoSQL data flows, and event-driven integrations using Kafka, SQS, or SNS.
Build end-to-end, integration, regression, and negative-path coverage for enterprise workflows.
Contribute to automation best practices, CI/CD quality gates, and security-focused testing.
Assess the impact of changes and participate in planning and estimation.
Partner with developers, product partners, and business stakeholders to improve testability and release confidence.
Required Qualifications
BPM testing experience with Camunda, jBPM, or similar products.
Java and TypeScript.
Selenium and/or Playwright.
SQL and NoSQL testing.
AWS experience.
Messaging-platform experience with Kafka, SQS, or SNS.
Enterprise integration testing experience.
Knowledge of Agile delivery, automation best practices, security principles, and CI/CD.
Strong analytical skills and a team-oriented work style.
