Senior Playwright Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• Work with Playwright and MCP to support AI-assisted automation workflows.
• Leverage AI tools for test case generation, script maintenance, and test optimization.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve automation issues.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve test coverage and automation efficiency.
• Provide regular status updates and communicate technical findings to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation and framework design.
• Working knowledge of Playwright integration with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Practical experience using AI tools for test automation, including test generation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of automation framework architecture and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Location Requirements

• Must be based in Manitoba, Canada, or willing to relocate.
• Must be available to work onsite three days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and interact effectively with client-facing stakeholders.
