Senior QA Lead

Job Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Leadership

• Lead and manage multiple testing initiatives across projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Define, review, and approve test strategies, test plans, and QA deliverables.
• Oversee quality assurance activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, mentoring, and training to QA team members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for business processes, applications, and testing methodologies.
• Partner with business stakeholders, development teams, senior leadership, and global technical resources to ensure quality objectives are achieved.

Test Planning & Execution

• Lead all phases of testing, including planning, test design, scripting, execution, defect management, debugging, and reporting.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts that validate business and technical requirements.
• Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and testing outcomes.
• Support functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Analyze, prioritize, and communicate defects based on business impact and technical risk.
• Provide regular testing status reports, risk assessments, and progress updates to project stakeholders.

Test Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases utilizing established automation frameworks.
• Evaluate and implement testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase testing efficiency, quality coverage, and process maturity.
• Measure, monitor, and report software quality metrics and testing effectiveness.

Agile & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams to support sprint planning, execution, and delivery objectives.
• Participate in architecture reviews, solution design sessions, enhancement planning, and defect triage activities.
• Support change management efforts and assist in resolving issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Foster strong partnerships across business and technology teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or related technology roles.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Demonstrated experience developing test strategies, executing test plans, managing defects, and reporting quality metrics.
• Experience supporting multiple applications, platforms, and development environments.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
