Job Specification
You will own quality engineering for our agentic AI applications and the shared backend services behind them — systems where models plan, retrieve, call tools, and generate real deliverables for enterprise customers. Your work begins where the build ends: once a service or an application has been packaged, you stand it up, exercise it from the outside, and establish whether it is fit to release. Testing these systems is a different discipline from testing conventional software, because the failure that costs you is rarely a crash — it is a response that looks correct and is not, and a test asserting one exact model answer fails for the wrong reason every week. Much of the craft is knowing what can be asserted honestly: streaming behavior, failover, schema compatibility, access control, and the integrity of what the system produces, rather than the wording of what the model said. Most of the work is Python engineering against running services over HTTP, with a focused browser automation layer covering the journey a customer actually takes. Engineering owns the tests that gate a merge; you own what happens once the artifact exists — the environments, the suites, the pipeline that runs them, and the signal a release decision rests on. You are joining applications with deep unit coverage and little above it, so you will be building that standard rather than inheriting one, and the patterns you establish become what the next services and applications adopt.
