Senior Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer role is an onshore QA position for Boston, emphasizing asset-management testing, stakeholder communication, offshore-team collaboration, and practical automation rather than pure automation specialization. The position is closer to a senior test engineer than a formal test lead. The role will combine automation and manual testing, with automation generally prioritized first.

Publicis Sapient is seeking a good functional QA engineer with onshore offshore coordination experience to support a trading and ops application for one of our Boston-based FS clients.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S without sponsorship.
• Prefers Boston-based candidates only.
• Open to hybrid work arrangement of 3 days per week from the Client offices in Boston.

Must Haves

• Overall exp 5 to 9 years (with at least 3+ years of relevant exp)
• Domain Experience: Financial software testing/ Asset Management, or investment-operations testing experience is required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills, experience with onshore/offshore models.
• Hands on coding
• Strong SQL, data analysis, and test design skills.
• Agile/JIRA experience with strong team communication.
• Automation exposure across Selenium/Test Complete, UI, microservices, Java, and Python.

Nice to have

• Automation test experience, Charles River or Eagle.

Additional information

Annual Pay Range (Total compensation in USD for Boston):

For SAL-1 career stage: $100,000 - $120,000

For SAL-2 career stage: $120,000 - $140,000
