Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of manual testing fundamentals, including SDLC, STLC, test design techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis (BVA), equivalence partitioning, and defect life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation using TypeScript/JavaScript, including locators, assertions, fixtures, and the POM framework.
• Knowledge of REST API testing, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and Postman; experience with API automation using Playwright request context.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, including joins, subqueries, aggregate functions, and data validation queries.
• Experience with Jira for defect and test management and Git for version control.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for defect reporting.
• Ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively in Agile sprints.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience in software testing.
• Practical experience in both manual and automation testing is required.
• Experience with Playwright, API testing, PostgreSQL, and Jira is preferred.
