Position : UAT Test Engineer
Location : Columbus, OH
The UAT Tester will be a part of the Testing Center of Excellence based at Ops Products CCB Testing COE. As a Sr Associate, the specialist will be a part of a critical global team, and hence it is important that they have the aptitude and capability to systematically test application functionality, as part of the development /test cycle, and in preparation for the go-live phase of each development. They must also record the results correctly while maintaining good communication with stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform Regression & Functional User Acceptance Testing of systems
Assist in the parallel running of the current system to ensure the new system results are validated against the existing system
Documentation of UAT Test Scenarios - Test Cases / Test Scripts in qTest
Definition and preparation of Test Data
Identification and analysis of defects and work with Ops teams to ensure the quality of delivered software as well as ensuring timely bug resolution.
In parallel with testing responsibilities, the candidate will be required to assist in the delivery of monthly/quarterly reporting on the testing results.
Update any documentation that has gone out-of-date.
Previous relevant experience in a test or technical support environment.
Test Preparation and Execution experience (preferably within business applications and processes)
Strong problem solving and good analytical skills (defect analysis and reporting)
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Track record of successful project completion working in a team
Ability to multi-task and test different applications relating to a release
Good time management skills and the ability to work on tight deadlines
Test Automation experience in Java, Selenium, UDF etc. is good to have
