Weโre partnering with a large Canadian healthcare organization seeking a Technical Test Lead to support a provincial Workday HCM and Payroll transformation spanning approximately 200,000 employees.
As the program prepares to transition from configuration into end-to-end testing, youโll lead Data Conversion Validation (DCV) and System Integration Testing (SIT). Working across business, technical and implementation partner teams, youโll coordinate test readiness, execution, reconciliation and defect resolution across a complex, multi-organization environment.
This is a remote, initial 12 month contract with potential for extension. Candidates must be based in Canada.

๐น๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ โ Multi-wave Workday transformation, with deployments planned through 2029
๐ธ5+ years of enterprise testing or QA experience, including leading testing activities and coordinating cross-functional teams.
๐ธProven experience leading data conversion validation across repeated conversion cycles, including source-to-target reconciliation, validation rules and exception management.
๐ธStrong system integration testing experience covering file/API interfaces, data transformations, error handling and third-party dependencies.
๐ธERP or HCM testing experience across HR, payroll and downstream processes.
๐ธHands-on experience with Azure DevOps or a comparable test-management platform, plus strong data analysis and reconciliation skills using advanced Excel, SQL or similar tools.
๐ธConfident coordinating business stakeholders, technical teams and vendors, with clear reporting on defects, risks and test readiness and experience handling sensitive employee data.
๐นDirect Workday HCM, Payroll, data conversion and integrations experience.
๐นFamiliarity with Workday reporting, EIB, Core Connectors or Workday Studio.
๐นHealthcare, public sector or large, unionized environments.
๐นExperience supporting E2E, payroll parallel, regression testing and production cutover.
