Practice app · Acme REST API
A live REST + GraphQL API with auth, validation, pagination, rate limiting and an interactive request console.
Your starter code already declares BASE_URL — call the API relative to it.
Objective
Delete a user you created and verify it is really gone.
Your task
- 1Create a user and capture its id.
- 2DELETE BASE_URL + "/users/{id}" and assert 204.
- 3GET the same id and assert 404 with error.code USER_NOT_FOUND.
Acceptance criteria
- POST /users returns 201
- DELETE /users/{id} returns 204
- The follow-up GET returns 404
- At least 2 assertions pass
Constraints
- Use a unique email per run, e.g. qa.<timestamp>@example.test — emails must not already exist (409 EMAIL_TAKEN).
- The practice API is shared in-memory state: only modify users you created yourself.
