Objective

Change a single field with PATCH and prove every other field is untouched.

Your task

  1. 1Create a user and keep its full response body.
  2. 2PATCH BASE_URL + "/users/{id}" with { "name": "Patched Name" } and assert 200.
  3. 3Assert name changed while email, role and createdAt are identical to the original.

Acceptance criteria

  • PATCH /users/{id} returns 200
  • At least 3 assertions pass

Constraints

  • Use a unique email per run, e.g. qa.<timestamp>@example.test — emails must not already exist (409 EMAIL_TAKEN).
  • The practice API is shared in-memory state: only modify users you created yourself.
