Objective
Harden the test for CI: environment-driven config, CI-friendly timeouts and no sleeps.
Your task
- 1Read the Appium URL (and device name) from environment variables with local defaults.
- 2Raise newCommandTimeout / adbExecTimeout / appWaitDuration for slow CI emulators.
- 3Log in as qa@target.dev / Test@123 via the accessibility ids "username", "password" and "login". Tap "allow" on the notification permission dialog (#permission-dialog) — the app is blocked until you answer it.
- 4Wait for and open item 8, then assert the detail title is "Item 8".
Acceptance criteria
- Item 8 is opened
- Config comes from the environment
- CI timeouts are set
- No fixed sleeps
- At least 2 assertions pass
