Practice app · TaskBoard
A team kanban board: sign-in, four columns with WIP limits, a create-card dialog, pointer-based drag and drop, inline title editing, a right-click card menu with archive and undo, delete confirmation, search, keyboard shortcuts, a native reset confirm and an activity log.
Your starter code already declares TEST_URL — never hardcode a host.
Objective
Delete a card through the custom confirmation dialog. Cancel it once and verify nothing changed, then confirm and verify the card is gone.
Your task
- 1Open TEST_URL (you are already signed in).
- 2On card TB-111 “Homepage wireframes” (Done column) click its ⋯ button (.card-menu-button), then #menu-delete.
- 3In #delete-modal click #delete-cancel and assert the dialog closes and TB-111 is still on the board.
- 4Open the menu again, click #menu-delete and this time click #delete-confirm.
- 5Assert TB-111 is gone, #column-done-count shows 1 and #activity-log contains “Deleted ‘Homepage wireframes’”.
Acceptance criteria
- The confirmation dialog is closed.
- Card TB-111 is no longer on the board.
- The Done column holds 1 card.
- The activity log records the deletion.
