Practice app · TaskBoard

A team kanban board: sign-in, four columns with WIP limits, a create-card dialog, pointer-based drag and drop, inline title editing, a right-click card menu with archive and undo, delete confirmation, search, keyboard shortcuts, a native reset confirm and an activity log.

Your starter code already declares TEST_URL — never hardcode a host.

Objective

In Progress already holds 3 cards, its WIP limit. Move a fourth card into it and verify the warning and the card counts of every column.

Your task

  1. 1Open TEST_URL (you are already signed in) and read the counts: To Do 4, In Progress 3, Review 2, Done 2.
  2. 2Assert #wip-warning-progress is not shown yet.
  3. 3Move card TB-103 “Design pricing page hero” to In Progress, either by dragging it or with its ⋯ button (.card-menu-button) → #menu-move → #move-to-progress.
  4. 4Assert #wip-warning-progress reads “WIP limit exceeded (4/3)”.
  5. 5Assert #column-progress-count shows 4, #column-todo-count shows 3 and Review shows no warning.

Acceptance criteria

  • The In Progress column shows the WIP limit warning with 4/3.
  • In Progress holds 4 cards and To Do holds 3.
  • Card TB-103 is in In Progress.
  • The test asserts the warning and the counts.
