Practice app · FinBank
A retail net-banking portal: captcha-protected login, an accounts dashboard with masked balances, a sortable and paginated transactions table, beneficiary management, OTP-verified fund transfers behind a native confirm, a session-timeout warning and statements that open in a new tab.
Your starter code already declares TEST_URL — never hardcode a host.
Objective
Log in to FinBank NetBanking with a customer ID, a password and the captcha shown on the page, then verify the dashboard greets the customer.
Your task
- 1Open TEST_URL. The login form is shown.
- 2Type 11223344 into #login-customer-id and Bank@2026 into #login-password.
- 3Read the current captcha text from #captcha-text (do not hard-code it) and type it into #login-captcha.
- 4Click Log in (#login-submit).
- 5Assert #welcome-message reads “Welcome, Neha Sharma” and the page title contains “Dashboard”.
Acceptance criteria
- The dashboard greets Neha Sharma.
- The browser is on the dashboard route (#/dashboard).
- The test asserts the signed-in state.
