Objective

Automate the whole FoodRush journey: set Indiranagar as the delivery area, customise a Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, apply FEAST50, check out with Cash on delivery, wait for the live tracker to reach Delivered, and rate the order 5 stars.

Your task

  1. 1Open TEST_URL, click #location-button, enter Indiranagar in the prompt and accept it.
  2. 2Open Biryani Baithak and click “Add Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani”. In #customise-modal choose Full (#size-full), tick Extra raita (#addon-extra-raita), check the button reads “Add item — ₹429” and click it.
  3. 3Open the cart (#view-cart), apply FEAST50 and assert #bill-grand-total is ₹440, then click #proceed-checkout.
  4. 4Fill #address-name “Asha Verma”, #address-phone 9876543210 and #address-flat “12, 4th Cross”. Check that #address-area is prefilled with Indiranagar, choose Cash on delivery (#pay-cod) and click #place-order.
  5. 5On the tracking page, wait without fixed sleeps until #order-status shows “Delivered”.
  6. 6Click “Rate 5 stars”, optionally type feedback in #feedback, click #submit-rating and assert #rating-thanks mentions 5 stars.

Acceptance criteria

  • The order from Biryani Baithak is delivered to Indiranagar.
  • The order total is ₹440 and it is paid with Cash on delivery.
  • The order is rated 5 stars.
  • The test makes at least three assertions along the journey.
