Housekeeping Trainer Quality Assurance

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Responsible for assisting in meeting excellent standards in the Housekeeping Department.
• Provide orientation, training and assessment to all colleagues and new starters to the Housekeeping department
• Participate in Hotel quality auditing requirements, prepare action reports and implement actions to prevent reoccurring issues.
• Schedule routine inspections within hotels to ensure quality meets expectation.
• Evaluate colleague performance to assist the Executive Housekeeper when necessary.
• Ensure Workplace Health & Safety procedures are maintained and adhered to.
• Complete regular safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Ensure colleagues meet productivity requirements and the quality score of the hotel to the required standard.
• Prepare weekly reports in relation to the Training and Quality standards of the hotel.

About You

• Previous experience in a similar role - requires knowledge and experience in processes, procedures and methods of the Housekeeping Department.
• Ability to relate well to The Langham, Melbourne guests, colleagues and hotel Management.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Professional in demeanor and presentation.
• Effective communication skills.
• Personable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently.
