Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation & Business Processes to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts that validate both applications and critical business processes. The ideal candidate thrives on problem-solving, process improvement, and creating scalable automation solutions that enhance quality throughout the organization. You will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define testing strategies, execute comprehensive test cases, and ensure systems perform reliably in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, test automation, or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, or comparable technologies
• Proficiency in SQL and data validation techniques
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to support evolving business needs

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to support application and business process validation
• Create and execute functional, regression, and end-to-end test cases
• Monitor automated test pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve test reliability
• Expand automation coverage for high-risk and high-volume business processes
• Validate business rules and system workflows through automated testing
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide actionable recommendations
• Develop and manage realistic test data reflecting real-world business scenarios and edge cases
• Report on quality metrics, trends, and automation effectiveness
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define testing strategies and acceptance criteria
• Participate in project planning, requirements reviews, and user acceptance testing readiness activities
• Communicate testing outcomes and potential risks clearly to project teams and leadership
• Maintain documentation for test cases, automation frameworks, and quality standards
• Support training efforts and knowledge sharing across teams
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
