Quality Assurance Engineer, Veeqo

Key job responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, developers and QA peers to plan test strategies and deliver quality software for Veeqo's ecommerce inventory and fulfilment platform.
• Break down complex, ambiguous features and sales channel and carrier integrations into clear test scenarios at the appropriate level, from UI to API.
• Write and execute manual and automated tests that validate new improvements, and break software in unexpected ways to find defects before customers do.
• Develop automated UI and API test suites within our team frameworks, keeping them reliable and maintainable.
• Debug problems using log files and your understanding of software internals, so defect reports give developers what they need to fix issues quickly.
• Use GenAI tools to improve testing productivity, and critically validate AI-generated output, judging when to trust it.
• Review designs, requirements and code changes, giving constructive feedback on testability, edge cases and user experience.
• Create clear, accurate documentation, including test plans, test cases and bug reports.
• Practise CI/CD by running automated tests in the delivery pipeline, and track key metrics to find and remove inefficiencies in our development and testing processes.
